The second edition of the international 'ENHANCE Students Against Climate Change Summer School 2023' will begin on July 4, 2023. Warsaw University of Technology organizes this event.
Through international peer-to-peer networking within our ENHANCE academic community, you will learn about global climate change issues and define local opportunities together using the Problem-based learning (PBL) approach. Experienced tutors will support your work by providing you with knowledge on climate change, sharing ready-to-use teamwork methods, boosting up your creativity, and taking care of comfortable environments for your work.
Form of activities include guest lectures, self-readings, group discussions, but most of all, hands-on designing, prototyping, and testing your ideas. We aim to deliver and publish fresh ideas for the ENHANCE community we all create.
BASIC INFORMATION:
- Duration: online from 4th-5th July 2023 and on-site at WUT from 10th-14th July 2023.
- The summer school is open to students who finished at least 2nd year of Bachelor’s degree studies and students of Master’s degree studies.
- The summer school will be attended by students from all ENHANCE universities, as well as Lviv Polytechnic University and Kyiv Polytechnic University (ENHANCE Network Partners).
- Warsaw University of Technology (WUT) selects 5 students – the selected participants will complete the registration form.
- Participation is free of charge.
- Credits: 4 ECTS.
Send a motivation letter of 300-500 words in English to piotr.szczepanski@pw.edu.pl where you describe the following:
1) your personal background + level, year and field of study at WUT
2) your grade point average from last semester,
3) your level of English.
4) why do you want to participate in the ENHANCE Summer School,
5) what you will plan to do with your newly acquired knowledge,
6) did you participate in any course related to climate change at any ENHANCE
