All our Gradutes are kindly invited to take part in the Graduates’ Professional Careers Monitoring survey.

The Center for Social Communication of the City of Warsaw is organizing a special radio workshop for international students. The aim of the workshop is to bring together an international community which will co-create a multilingual integrating radio.

From 18th to 19th of May the students’ biggest celebration  “Juwenalia” will take place. Like every year, there will be a lot of fun and good music at Syrenka Stadion.

WUT SiMRacing Team, as a section of the Vehicle Mechanic Student Research Group operating within the SiMR Faculty, is working on a prototype of a preMoto3 motorcycle to enter it for the MotoStudent competition, which will be held in Spain in October. Our WUT SiMRacing Team will be the only Polish team among the participants.

Students from the Warsaw University of Technology (WUT), mainly from the Faculty of Automotive and Construction Machine Engineering, and the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) are building an electric racing car for the international competition Formula Student. In July, they will compete against the best teams from all over the world on the Riccardo Paletti race track near Parma, Italy.

All international students of our Facullty are kindly invited for the next cyclic event dedicated to our dear foreigners. This time there will be a chance to take a closer look at WUT with a guided tour.

On 27th of February, 2018, 12:15-14:15, at CZIiTT, Rektorska Street 4, Warsaw, room 5.02, will be held the workshop "How to show your potential on the interview". 

Student of our faculty, Stefan Pytel, together with his family has been helping people in Africa for over two years as a volunteer of the Harambee Poland Foundation. In 2017 he spent nearly one month in Kenya, renovating buildings among other things.

Students Council kindly invites all staff and students of our faculty for the Easter Event which will take place on 5.04.2017 at 11:15 in room 1.10. Accordingly, the time off for the lectures taking place from 11:00 to 12:00 is granted by the Dean.

Until January 15th, 2017 takes place submission of applications for the INTERSTUDENT 2017 Contest. The competion is aimed on distinguishing the best foreign students in Poland – "university leaders", who contribute to the integration of Polish and international students the most. Appointment applications can be sumbitted by professors, tutors, university or faculty authorities, international offices, student governments, as well as candidate’s colleagues.

Elections of the Miss and Mister of the Faculty of Automotive and Construction Machinery Engineering will take place on Wednesday, 19.10.2016, at 20.00 in the Remont Club. It is the 1st stage of the elections of the Miss and Mister of the WUT. Everybody who would like to come is kindly invited!

Starting from summer semester 2015/2016, all our students will be obliged to use the e-mail system based on the domain pw.edu.pl, provided by the University. All students will receive individual e-mail addresses in the format: studentnumber@pw.edu.pl.

W roku akademickim 2013/14 studenci Wydziału Samochodów i Maszyn Roboczych realizowali projekt Ministerstwa Nauki i Szkolnictwa Wyższego "Generacja Przyszłości". W ramach tego projektu zmodernizowano bolid Formuła Student oraz zorganizowano letnie wyjazdy na zawody do Wielkiej Brytanii oraz na Węgry.

W dniach 16-17  maja 2014 drużyna SiMR Team z pojazdem pneumatycznym Batmobil z sukcesem wystartowała w kolejnej edycji międzynarodowych zawodów Aventics Pneumobil Bosch Rexroth w Eger (Węgry).

Studenci z Koła Naukowego Mechaników Pojazdów działającego na Wydziale SiMR po raz kolejny uczestniczyli w zawodach The Shell Eco Marathon Europe.

Pojazd "Hussar" poprawił zeszłoroczny wynik przejeżdżając 375,86 km na 1 litrze benzyny (326 km w 2013roku). Dało to 26 miejsce na 59 drużyn startujących w kategorii Prototype - Gasoline i jako jedyny z polskich pojazdów spalinowych uzyskał oficjalny wynik.

Drugi pojazd, elektryczny bolid "Green Arrow" startujący w kategorii Urban Concept - Battery electric zajął 15 miejsce (42,66 km/kWh) spośród 31 ekip startujących w zawodach.

W ramach projektu Program Rozwojowy Politechniki Warszawskiej uruchomiony został kolejny projekt, którego celem jest sfinansowanie 3-miesięcznych pobytów stażowych w przedsiębiorstwach oraz instytucjach naukowych.

Program staży jest przeznaczony dla studentów 9 jednostek Politechniki Warszawskiej, w tym dla studentów Wydziału Samochodów i Maszyn Roboczych.

O stypendium mogą się ubiegać studenci studiów stacjonarnych Wydziału SiMR:

• posiadający status studenta w dniu składania dokumentów oraz w trakcie trwania stażu.
• ostatniego roku studiów I stopnia
• w trakcie trwania studiów II stopnia

Absolwent Wydziału Samochodów i Maszyn Roboczych i uczestnik ostatniej edycji Konkursu na najlepszą pracę magisterską obronioną na tym wydziale w roku akademickim 2011/12, Pan Jacek Nowicki zdobył III nagrodę w X Ogólnopolskim Konkursie „OTWARTE DRZWI” na najlepsze prace doktorskie i magisterskie, których tematem jest zjawisko niepełnosprawności w wymiarze zdrowotnym, zawodowym lub społecznym organizowanego przez Państwowy Fundusz Rehabilitacji Osób Niepełnosprawnych.

Nagroda dotyczyła kategorii „Rehabilitacja zawodowa oraz rozwiązania technologiczne służące osobom niepełnosprawnym”.

W dniach 15 i 16 października studenci Wydziału SiMR zrzeszeni w studenckich organizacjach naukowych mieli przyjemność prezentować swoje osiągnięcia na kolejnej edycji Targów Kół Naukowych Politechniki Warszawskiej "KONIK 2013".

Wystawiły się Koło Naukowe Mechaników Pojazdów, Koło Naukowe Sportów Samochodowych oraz studenci realizujący projekt "Generacja Przyszłości".
