  • Classification of numerical control systems, servo drives, linear motors, turrets, driven tools, measuring systems, absolute and incremental dimensioning.
  • Types of controllers: 2D, 2 1/2D, 3D, multi-axes machine tools .
  • Reference systems on the lathes, turning centress,  milling machines and milling centers, manual and automatic tool change.
  • Manual and automatic programming, teach-in and interactive programming, ISO codes, preparation functions, auxiliary functions, tool functions.
  • Programming, cycles and macrocycles, subroutines, functions.
  • Parametric programming, tool corrections, Interpolations: linear, circular and spline.
  • Programming languages, contour programming, programming in polar coordinates, postprocessors.
Laboratory
  • Vertical and horizontal milling centre, turning centre – manual operation on CNC machines,
  • Generating of the toolpathes and simulation in CAM environment.
  • Running the programs on the CNC machines: for roto-symmetric parts and for cube parts, machining.
