A brief outline:
Lecture
  • Introduction, inductive and Hall-effect sensors.
  • Potentiometer, thermistor, thermocouple, capacitance, mass flow (hot-wire anemometer) and piezoelectric sensors.
  • Strain gauge and radar and lidar sensors.
  • Photoelectrical (optical) and ultrasound sensors.
  • Electrolytic-resistance and other sensors.
  • Mechanical, electrical and pneumatic actuators.
  • Hydraulic and other actuators.
  • Final test.
Laboratory
  • Sensorics – inductive and Hall-effect (rotational speed) sensors.
  • Sensorics – potentiometer and hot-wire (air flow meter) sensors.
  • Sensorics – piezoelectric and MAP sensors.
  • Sensorics – thermistor and electrolytic-resistance (Lambda probe) sensors.
  • Actuators – valves: EGR, vacuum modulation, filter regeneration, additional air.
  • Actuators – throttling valve with idle run controller, idle run valves.
