Apprenticeship

Apprenticeships at the Faculty of SiMR are designed to supplement the theoretical knowledge of students on practical experience in the field of specialization implemented in the department.Have implemented apprenticeship also contribute to:

  • forming proper relationship to work,
  • development of entrepreneurship and to work on their own initiative,
  • develop responsibility for the quality and timely execution of tasks,
  • acquire habits of order and compliance with safety rules,
  • learn technical culture and discipline.

Job positions:

  • modern production systems,
  • computer aided systems CAD / CAM,
  • product quality assurance systems.

Area of responsibility:

  • production preparation: product design, planning technology process, tool design,
  • working methods of machining and metal forming,
  • maintenance of motor vehicles, rail vehicles and machines.

Students are trained by going through the min. 3 - 4 different jobs.

Apprenticeship on each station includes:

  • familiar with the tasks and organization of the department,
  • teaching activities performed at the assigned place of work,
  • work under the direction of a designated supervisor.
